ABOUT ME
I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in creative writing. After graduation, I worked at a Kung Fu publication and immersed myself in the southeastern music scene by booking shows, and managing bands in Tennessee and other cities. I re-located to Olympia where I worked for K Records, doing publicity. I worked for K Records for three years, and am now living in Los Angeles working in film (back line, behind the scenes stuff). I love a good game night, a good dinner party, a good gathering, with good conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think that couch surfing is the most applicable of networking sites as it makes the world borderless and accessible.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I ...
- First used couchsurfing in Omaha, Nebraska, while I was moving from Tennessee to Washington...
& Enjoyed staying with Shelley so much, I stayed an extra two days! I met Chelsea and Annie there, too. They showed me a great time.
- I stayed with Shelley in Seattle, when she went up that way to visit.
- Shelley stayed with me in Olympia, and so did Chelsea, separate times. We stayed in contact pretty well.
- I saw Annie and Shelley in Austin, Texas. Annie and I won a dance off at SXSW 2010.
- Outside of those splendid Omaha-ians, I haven't used Couchsurfing much. I met Fabian from Germany for a drink; he interviewed my boss at K about independent music. I prepared a trip to Reykjavik, and lined up a few places to stay via couchsurfing, but then I didn't go. I canceled it to spend more time with someone special and we camped under Mount Adams and heard ghosts in the night, the night I would have gone to Reykjavik. I did couchsurf with three friends in San Francisco. I am trying to find a few places in Los Angeles to meet folk in a place where I am trying to live and work, until I can settle properly.
