About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Work my way around the world, one couch at a time!

ABOUT ME

I'm currently working as a vegetarian cook and am keen to explore the world and hope to work on the continent when I have more experience. I'm keen to learn foreign languages and speak a reasonable level of Spanish at the moment. I love travel, reading, theatre and meeting new people, amongst a number of other things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm unfortunately not able to host at the moment as I rent accommodation from a centre, but when I have more suitable accommodation for couch-surfing I'll gladly welcome people to come and stay! As long as I have a spare room and some spare time you are welcome to come and stay anytime!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: The Glass Room by Simon Mawer, Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovksy, Millenium series by Stieg Larsson, Fingersmith by Sarah Waters, The Night Watch by Sarah Waters, Lady of the Camellias by Alexandre Dumas

Films: Millenium trilogy (Swedish version!), The Killing (Danish version), Lore, Mullholland Drive, Sleepless in Seattle, The Great Dictator and a lot others which I can't think of off the top of my head.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent three months volunteering in Namibia, Africa where I was involved in a community project to build a school, worked in a national park and trekked 150 miles across the Namibian desert. I have also trekked a part of the Camino de Santiago from Portugal up to Santiago.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to meet all different kinds of people, from all walks of life and really enjoy discovering new cultures and customs.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be able to cook a good hearty meal for you, or offer up some English language help, as you like!

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Namibia, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Netherlands, Scotland
