ABOUT ME

Music is my friend, it lifts my spirit and makes me happy. I am with it 75% of my day, which also means I’m dancing.. or at least tapping my feet.
I love it when my heart is worked... so I am active almost every day...
I'm a sucker for pretty things, fall and it's gorgeous leaves...
Cold clear days, comfortable places, books, burts bees, my bed, the color purple, healthy yummy food, spanish and movement are some of my favorites.
It's hard for me to sit still unless I am doing at least two things at once. I'm a "busy bee", a lover, a night owl, a realist, particular, wander-lust traveler, and value time.
I have the best girlfriends in the world who I love more than water and air...
I work hard for seven months in Alaska, and play the other five. I'm a lucky girl, free, and grateful.
The entire Sliding Doors feeling has been coming to mind lately...the what if?, every second, every decision, every step, determining your path. As I think of this, I giggle, and feel unabashedly content with where I have ended up.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If I need a couch, I surf... and if someone wants to see Palmer for a few days I will lend my guest room. :) I usually only let people use it who are tourists and just visiting, not for people looking to move to the area. That leads to a long visit on my couch. I can provide a private room with one shared bathroom. (Shared with me.)
I have some general rules, but I'm pretty easy going. No shoes in the house, no smoking, and no pets. (I'm allergic.) You can come and go as you please during the day, but on working nights, quiet hours begin at 10 pm. No outside overnight guests permitted (unless I approve it!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love meeting the people I host!! I haven't had one bad experience yet. Everyone has been so polite and respectful. I love hearing about others' countries and travels, and I hope that their stay here was a good one.
