About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To constantly be learning, growing, and changing.

ABOUT ME

My friends would probably say that I'm an open-minded, caring, and free-spirited individual.

PHILOSOPHY

I always want to be learning, growing, and changing.

Each day a journey. The journey itself home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I loved getting to know my local, hometown CS community and through meetups and parties I got to know some really cool people that I now consider great friends!

But now that I am living in another country I want to meet and connect with other travels from around the world! I have been living out of the States since Sept 2014.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed a few times now (in Innsbruck, Austria, Christchurch and Dunedin, New Zealand) and have had many positive experiences! Otherwise I have met up and gotten to know people within my communities, which has been very great too! :) Now that my partner and I have our own place here in Port Douglas, Australia we are ready to begin hosting people.

Interests

I love having adventures. I tend to spend my money on experiences whether it be going to concerts, taking a hike to see a beautiful waterfall, traveling to a different culture, visiting an old friend in a new city, etc. I love being in nature (esp around mountains!) and doing anything outdoors. I love talking about dreams and astrology. I love to go to shows and listen to live music. I enjoy singing around campfires with people playing guitars.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At Bonnaroo music festival in Manchester, TN watching the sun go down while seeing Band of Horses perform.

Stargazing and seeing the sunrise above the clouds on Mt. Haleakala in Hawaii.

Flying in a helicopter over the Everglades in Florida and hiking in the swamp.

Living in a tent for two months in upstate NY at the Omega Institute (holistic retreat center). Listening to the coyotes every night.

Cape Reinga in Northland in NZ at sunrise by myself.

My great NZ roadtrip on both islands exploring and living out of my car for almost 4 months.
