ABOUT ME

I've been lucky enough to travel quite a bit and I cannot begin to describe how great it has been to meet couchsurfers from all over the globe.

I recently moved back home to Lousville KY (from Buenos Aires, Argentina) and am looking forward to the time when I can host travelers looking to experience this town.

Buenos Aires is a huge international city and the couchsurfing community is quite large there so it's easy to find a meeting on pretty much any day of the week. I'm hoping to help the couchsurfing community grow here in my hometown because I know how much fun it can be.

At the end of the day, I'm best described as an artist. Just an artist in general. I believe that art is the most important cultural asset we have in a world filled with so much hate and war.

I play guitar and write songs (sometimes 2 or 3 a day) and one day I swear I will finish one! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am unable to host with the exception of an occasional emergency that someone may have when I may be in the position to help.

It's possible that I may be putting out couch surfing requests and if that is the case, I can offer alot. I'm very perceptive and very adaptable. If you want someone to talk to, I'm an open ear. If you want someone to cook for you, I love to be in the kitchen. If you are looking for entertainment, I have a guitar and will sing for you all night long. If you want to share some laughs over drinks, I am all too happy to oblige.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed via global freeloaders a few times in the United States and it has been a very rewarding and fun experience. For both parties involved it seems there is always a bit of vulnerability and reservation but these feelings are soon conquered by the spirit that which is couch surfing!

books- brave new world, aldous huxley; where the red fern grows( i read that book when I was a kid and while I don't remember it too well, I remember crying when the kids dog died. at least i know i was human at one time ;) ; movies - moulin rouge; when harry met sally; bar fly; harold and maude. music- cat stephens; harry connick jr.; me :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

looking up at a blanket of stars is pretty amazing to me. I remember one time I was driving through Montana or something. Maybe it was Kansas. I can't remember. What I do remember though, I was driving alone through the country, and I began to notice the stars over head.

I was leaning over my steering wheel to see and was having a difficult time looking up and driving at the same time, so I pulled off on the side of the highway. I got out of my car and never in my life had I seen so many stars. Well, maybe I had, but I certainly never took such notice of it. There was a new moon and I was far far away from the distracting glow of city lights. The Milky Way was dense with millions of twinkling lights suspended in space and I wanted so bad to have someone to share it with and even looked at the passing cars and trucks and wondered if they knew what they were missing.
I wondered what they were thinking. Each car that passed by represented a life with it's own dreams, and ideas, and troubles, and worries, and there I was, staring up at the thick cloud of stars that sent their light to us so many years ago.

Seriously though, it's the little things make me happy.
