Overview
About Me
Hello everybody! My name is Staša, I’m 24 years old and I’m studying Italian and Catalan. My fiancee Andrija is a senior at the Faculty of Philology, department of Hungarian.
We are both crazy about languages and traveling. We love meeting new people, exploring their cultures and traditions, as well as introducing them to our own. We won’t ask you to be our personal tour guide, but some good advice as to what to see or where to have lunch would be much appreciated. We love animals, so we don’t mind if you have pets (in fact, we have two cats ourselves). We aren’t smokers, but don’t mind if you happen to be one. Also, we aren’t the type of people who like to go to or organize wild parties, but some live music along with a nice meal would be great.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The goal of creating this profile is to, first and foremost, make new friends from different countries, and to practice the languages which we already know (and perhaps learn some new ones along the way). Additionally, we would like to try traditional foods of the countries that we visit and capture the best moments and the most beautiful sights.
Interests
We have always enjoyed travelling and think of it as a very valuable and fun experience. I have recently been to Catalonia; as I have been awarded a scholarship by my university. This has been one of the most interesting visits to a foreign country and I have been able to meet some extraordinary people from all over the world. We would like to continue this trend in other countries as well!

Music, Movies, and Books
We like quite varied genres, it would be difficult to only single out only one. However, we love to learn about music, cinematography and literature from other countries and in other languages; it is a great way to learn some more about a specific language or culture.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've played chess with a Serbian chess grandmaster when I was eleven. The game ended in a tie.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share some valuable insights into our language (Serbian), our culture and everything we've learned from our travelling experience and other countries. Perhaps we could even share some of our national recipes with you and prepare some national dishes.
