ABOUT ME

Hi everybody! My name is Stasa, and I am from Banja Luka. As you can see from the long list of visited places, and places I still want to see, the travel bug got me loooong time ago:)) I am either traveling, or planing my next trip. Traveling is my passion, and an even bigger passion for me is meeting people from other countries, sharing their culture and language. This has brought me to two student exchanges so far, and the more the travel the more you love it!

Communication with people from other countries and staying in touch! This is one of the most rewarding things in my life and I will always be open for new experiences like now.

Hard to pick just a few: 'The scent of rain in the Balkans' by Gordana Kujic; both book by Khaled Hosseini ' 'The kite runner' and 'Thousand splendid suns'; 'Eat, Love,Pray'; 'Testimony' by Anita Shrever, almost everything from Paolo Coelho and Isabel Allende, George R.R.Martin 'Game of thrones', 'Snow falling on cedars' etc.
movies: 'Troy', 'Gladiator', 'Inception', 'Harry Potter movies, Lord of the rings trilogy, 'Pretty women', 'Shawshank redemption', 'Avatar', 'Forrest Gump' etc.
Tv shows: 'Terra Nova', 'Fringe', 'Battlestar Galactica', ' Lost', ' The pillars of the earth', 'Big bang theory', 'two and a half men',

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm...this is hard to pick but let's say:
- seeing whales come out of water when I was on a ferry coming back from Victoria Island to Vancouver. It was such a 'National Geographic' moment, and such a interesting experience for me, I remember tears just went down my cheeks and I felt so small all of a sudden.
- Sipping 'Corona' and eating 'tortilla con pollo y guacamole' bought from a street vendor, with two of my best friends, and sitting on the sand of a tropical beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. One of those ' am I seriously here right now?' moment in life
- Having traditional Chinese lunch with a friend I met during my visit to Beijing that his mother prepared for us in their home. No touristic tour or a restaurant can beat that!
