Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To reach harmony with myself.
ABOUT ME
I'm friendly, polite and curious. A little shy and introverted by nature, but I love meeting new people and sharing experience. I'm currently working as a secretary in a bank and trying to figure out what I want to do next.
P.S. Sometimes I feel I'm quite a boring person compared to the couchsurfers I've already met - I have never worked as a volunteer, travelled around the world, been to Africa, etc ;) So, don't expect too much from me :)
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live, smile and make smile :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
What I want from this project is mainly new experience and new friends. I love it when people show me around their own town and tell something about themselves, I like seeing how different people live and I like obseving the life through the eyes of people around me. So, people are definitely a priority for me. But, of course, sometimes I need a couch too, because it is no fun to spend a night at a train station :)
I've surfed a few couches in Europe already, and it has always been a great experience!
I'm already looking forward to the time when I'm back in Russia, because I want to host people too! :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed a few couches and met a couple of people for a drink and sightseeing. It was always a great experience. You learn so much more travelling this way!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like books, interesting movies and good music, but can live without it all :)
Movies - Chocolat, Le scaphandre et le papillon, The Boat That Rocked, FRIENDS series, Sex&theCity series, Mamma Mia, Pippi Langstrumpf :) No joking :)
Books - Anna Gavalda, Jodi Picoult, Erlend Loe, William Saroyan, Romain Gary... My Sister's Keeper, Vorleser.. and many others :)
Music - Please, don't ask me what music I like! I'm never able to name any bands and feel stupid :)Anything not too hard, not too electronic and not too dance, which meets my mood and the atmosphere.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen: skyscrapers in New York and Chicago, the endless sky in Nebraska, tulip fields in Holland, mountains in Switzerland, etc.
Done: missing a plane in the US, visiting an American pen pal and her family, falling in love for the first time, couchsurfing in Europe (especially in Paris ;), etc.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some Russian, English or German. Maybe, to ride a bicycle and to skate... To make an origami star or an origami crane :) To cook some traditional Russian dishes... I can tell you a lot about living in Germany as an Au pair and travelling in Europe on a low budget :)
