Overview
About Me
I recently completed my graphic design degree. Focussing on that now. And I'm nurturing my long-time love of photography, too!
I act and play music, I love hiking and the woods, and I've become an avid disc golfer with a goal to play as many regional tournaments as possible this year. I'm also a bit of a soccer junkie—mainly follow the Timbers and FC Bayern, but if there's a match on, I'm probably watching it.
Travel is my happy place. New places and people offer new perspectives. This helps to serve as a reset button from all buildup of every day life.
Generally I'm doing my best to have a good time, enjoy myself and others, and appreciate the space that I occupy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couchsurfed across the states during a tour in 2010. I have hosted a few guests here in Portland since then, as well as having been a friend to a very active CS house in NE Portland.

Music, Movies, and Books
As far as music, my tastes are becoming more eclectic with age, but I default to modern and traditional folk and americana, alt-country, and experimental indie.
Interstellar blew my mind. I like film in general, though I don't delve as deep into as maybe I'd like.
I'm currently on a Kurt Vonnegut kick.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked the Bavarian Alps to Schachenhaus in 2014. That was epic.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like food and enjoy cooking! I have a few excellent recipes up my sleeve I'm willing to share (Eggs in Purgatory, anyone?)
