ABOUT ME

My friends say of me that I am transparent, but protective and present, I am confident without being judge, and very adviser but not directive. I am punctual, rigorous and tenacious but paradoxically, I am unconformist and I do not know the complications. My friends also think that I have a sense of communication and a taste for listening. I do not doubt anything, but I can always question myself. Much less combative than in the past, I still keep confidence in myself and my lucky star. I am imaginative curious and perseverant. After many experiences, my friendship is selective today, but very solid despite the impermanence of things, and I try to be as vacant as possible.

Ces vers, je les dédie aux amis inconnus,
A vous, les étrangers en qui je sens des proches,
Rivaux de ceux que j'aime et qui m'aiment le plus,

Nos poèmes parfois nous reviennent bénis,
Chauds d'un accueil lointain d'âmes hospitalières.
Et quel triomphe alors ! Quelle félicité
Orgueilleuse, mais tendre et pure, nous inonde,
Quand répond à nos voix leur écho suscité,
Par delà le vulgaire, en l'invisible monde
Où les fiers et les doux se sont fait leur cité !
Et nous la méritons, cette ivresse suprême,
Car si l'humanité tolère encor nos chants,
C'est que notre élégie est son propre poème,
Et que seuls nous savons, sur des rythmes touchants,
En lui parlant de nous lui parler d'elle-même.
Parfois un vers, complice intime, vient rouvrir
Quelque plaie où le feu désire qu'on l'attise ;
Parfois un mot, le nom de ce qui fait souffrir,
Tombe comme une larme à la place précise
Où le coeur méconnu l'attendait pour guérir.
Peut-être un de mes vers est-il venu vous rendre
Dans un éclair brûlant vos chagrins tout entiers,
Ou, par le seul vrai mot qui se faisait attendre,
Vous ai-je dit le nom de ce que vous sentiez,
Sans vous nommer les yeux où j'avais dû l'apprendre.
Vous qui n'aurez cherché dans mon propre tourment
Que la sainte beauté de la douleur humaine,
Qui, pour la profondeur de mes soupirs m'aimant,
Sans avoir à descendre où j'ai conçu ma peine,
Les aurez entendus dans le ciel seulement ;
Vous qui m'aurez donné le pardon sans le blâme,
N'ayant connu mes torts que par mon repentir,
Mes terrestres amours que par leur pure flamme,
Pour qui je me fais juste et noble sans mentir,

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Iook the requests but I select them by consulting the profiles. Then I get in touch with a CS, and get to know more by e.mail to compare our facilities. I prefer to host CS for a minimum of 3 days, which gives us time to get to know each other better and allow them to enjoy Paris without hurrying too much. I only host people who takes time to read my profile and who are social, so personalize your request please!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Now all the CSs with whom I have friends know that they can come back home and their loved ones if they recommend them to me. Besides, I have frequent visits from friends who come back on occasion.

Interests

Life, warmth, love, sun, sea, and all that
I love lazing in the sun, dreaming in the clouds and letting myself go. I like to walk without running and observe what happens, until the desire to have contacts takes me back.
Every night, I take stock of my day and it makes me want to become better and enjoy all and those with whom I share my life.

Also, I practiced Japanese and Chinese Martial Art since the age of 7, today at 68, I continue in the spiritual path. (Judo Ju-Jutsu since 1958: Mikinosuke Kawaishi) Hung-Gar Kung Fu since 1975: (Sigong Hsiu Sang Hon, Sifu Wong Yu Kwai) I know others schools like Wing Shun with Wiliam Chung from Melbourne Australia, Kali with Dan Inosanto from San Francisco, Choy li Fut, Toy Tam and Tan lang kung Fu. I do not want to be Sensei like Judo, I'm Sihing in Kung Fu, but I've never taught what I'm still looking for today.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to meet people I appreciate, who bring me something interesting to develop, and to live as serenely as possible. All opinions are good to me, I have no priori and I am absolutely open to everything and ready to discuss. Sometimes I meet people that I do not particularly like because I do not share their vision, but it's always a good experience and I never regret. Each individual is unique and I always have to learn from others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Be yourself, do not try to change your personality. I love as much a humble and modest homeless as a rich arrogant and pretentious; and I make no difference when I receive them because each time it is a new experience. I had hosts of different ages and social class that I have all enjoyed and who have also trusted me their friendship for life because we shared beautiful things.
