ABOUT ME

Its an us. We're a couple although I like to think we've still kept some of our own identity. I'm an Englishman and Jess is Canadian. We've been living in Vancouver since Aug '08 after leaving London. Jess's a student and I work. Were both very well travelled and like nice stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

Its either "be the change you want to see in the world," (Ghandi) or "I don't want a career I want another can of beer," (Ben Weasel). I'm undecided on which one.

I don't understand this question. I guess I participate by letting people stay with me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Too many to mention, but always informal and not part of this scheme. I've stayed with more people than I can actually remember over years of travelling around.

Interests

Music - especially going to gigs.
Bars - ones without TVs in them.
Restaurants - cheap ones with good food.
Travelling - interesting places
Books - something with food for thought.
Films - something with food for thought.
Cycling - wind in my hair.
Motor Cycling - wind in my hair
Hanging out with friends - nice ones.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just saw Jeffrey Lewis play last week - it was a great show. Just watched a couple of films about Darfur and both series and the Xmas special of Extras.
Currently reading "The trouble with Africa. Why foreign Aid doesn't work". Its a laugh a minute.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode my bicycle from London to Cape Town and picked up the love of my life on the way.
