PHILOSOPHY
I'm an idealist, so my first dream/purpose in life is to make the world a better place, even if it's just a tiny little bit :)
And my second one is to be a wise person some day!
That's the reason why i love to learn about and from other cultures and the way other people think about life. That's why i always wanted to speak a lot of languages, to be able to communicate with as much different people as possible. Because in my opinion, the experiences you create by opening your heart to foreign people, without prejudice, without thinking that 'your way is the only way', is the only real richness you can own in your life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It's sometimes difficult and frightning to arrive in a place you've never been. As a host, i will do everything to make you feel good and make you understand that 'home' is actually a relative thing.
Everywhere on earth there is a place that could be your home, when you're surrounded by people that open their heart for you, without any prejudice!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted a few times in Brussels and also in my families house near the Belgian coast. I'm relatively active in the local community of CS. My first couch I'll be surfing during my trip in South America that starts at the end of November 2012.
Interests
Everything is interesting! I'm a really curious person and i always try to observe the everyday world with the eyes of a child that sees everything for the first time in her life!
But since you ask, some of my interests are:
Books, Photografy, Traveling, South America, Journalism, My guitar(s), Rock&Blues, Worldmusic, Belgian Beer, Gastronomy, Festivals, Ecology, Development, ETC.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During one of my most spectacular trips (Morocco), I spend the night in the Sahara desert. To get there, we had to travel for hours on a camel with only the light of the moon and the stars to guide us to a nomad tent camp. It was the most flashy moonlight i've ever seen in my entire life... After a rough and very cold night, we woke up very early in the morning to climb a really high dune. On the highest top we could admire the most amazing sunset ever...
