I'm a very open-minded, friendly, curious scientific and social explorer. I often travel in search of obscure science knowledge. I enjoy meeting people who are interesting, unusual, and open minded. I am a kind self-aware ambivert/introvert, who needs a little quiet time to recharge now and then. I love getting to know people through couchsurfing and travel though. I usually prefer a quiet evening in to a loud bar or club.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked on huge balloon science experiments in a parka and snow pants, while inside a refrigerated airplane hangar with air temperature of -65C! (65 degrees celsius below zero)

I am an expert at high altitude balloons. I can tell you about the stratosphere, the physics of how balloons work, meteorology, chemistry, physics and basic materials science. I will share tales and photos of wild ballooning adventures, and hopefully in the future could invite you to come visit balloons I launch in the Netherlands someday!

I have warm stories and teachings of the ethical non-monogamy and polyamory community in San Francisco. How to communicate about difficult things with partners, and how to make open relationship agreements. In the style of "More than Two" and "Opening Up".

I maintained, fired, and drove steam locomotives for several years, and would be happy to share on the what that make a railroad steam engine work and how to drive one.
