Overview
About Me
Hi there! My name is Esteban Villegas, from Medellín Colombia now travelling around Asia and currently in the 3rd country of this trip (Thailand) after being 3 months in India, 2 in Nepal and almost 1 month in Thailand doing volunteering in all of them.
I'm an Industrial designer with graphic design knowledge, and passionate for photography. Now having a great time photographing all the beautiful places and people I've come up in Asia, and working as a freelance designer on my free time.
I finished my degree on February of 2015 and now I'm looking for new horizons in order to expand my mind and find new experiences.
I like languages, I speak spanish (native) English (fluent) and Portuguese (fluent) and currently learning a bit of Italian, so I always try my best in order to communicate with people.
I'm really looking forward to meet my next and maybe last host on my trip.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been around here for years, hosted a few people years ago and now I'm using it to travel a bit around Europe.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I was travelling I didn't use CS at all, but surely I'm going to do it on my next trip. It's the best way to get involved with the people and the place itself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I started to live as soon as I left my country,I lived abroad in 6 months what had not lived in my city in 10 years.
I did kayaking in the Jordan River, rode Air balloon in Turkey, rode bike through the desert, rode a camel, went to the magic cities like Jerusalem and Istambul, rode a bike around the sea of Galilee, met people from all over the world, got the strongest bitten of an insect in Costa Rica.
Recently visited Cambodia where I taught English to little kids volunteered in a Japanese hostel and worked as a party promoter in Sihanoukville.
Then moved to Vietnam where I taught English too and then decided to do the south to north tour by motorcycle.
And now recently traveled around Philippines a bit and volunteered building some of the damages caused by the super typhoon Yolanda.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you my language, about my city, basically about everything I've seen or done; it depends on what you want to learn.
