I'm a Dutch girl, graduated in 2014 from the Arts academy in Holland.
I work in my atelier in The Hague and am often in Austin for exhibitions or research trips.
I hate eating alone and am a good cook! I like to dance, especially to 90's and 80's music, or anything catchy really.
I like to do volunteer stuff, bike and hang out with people, watch movies. Eat home made stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I always travel alone when I have an Exhibition abroad or doing research, and I don't like to be :).
I'm the youngest of a family of 5 children so I'm super used to always having people around and like to share my day and food.

Interests

Of course I'm interested in arts but mostly I get inspiration from really daily stuff rather than visiting museums.
I like animals a lot, like cats, cats are great. Dogs too!!!
I'm interested in humanistic studies and in crazy people you can find in funny movies on the internet.
And also nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is.. hard to say. This is England I guess.
I like reading information books rather that stories or fiction, right now I'm reading; a brief history of time by Stephen Hawking.
I love music from the 80's, my guilty pleasure is the music of Kate Bush. It's really dramatic, melodic and hold the middle between demonic and angelic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've bungee jumped, and hitch hiked in my life. But the best feeling is when I made a work and I like it. It doesn't happen that often but it's an amazing feeling
