Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, sometimes I just have somewhere I need to get to, sometimes I just want to hang out for a bit. . *** NEWS!! *** so i'll be going home, haven't been back to Germany in 30 years. Looking for a place to stay in Kaiserslautern for a few weeks.. Aug 1 - 13 then off to Black Forest to hike Ostweg, then to hike Zugspitze (highest peak in Germany) then over to Berchtesgaden , haven't been there since I was a kid, and maybe climb Hochwanner or Watzmann mtns. gonna hit the Hofbrauhaus in Munchen on my way to Paris, then over to Amsterdam for a night. Should like to be back in( Barbarossa city ) area by Aug 21 - 31 then back to the U.S. unless I feel the need to extend the trip. to end of Aug... euro vaca...Nice. very excited. --- but couchsurfing is a great way to break up the monotony of life by meeting new people, exciting people who go out of the comforf zone of expected cultural biases... like hotels which are lonely and boring.
