About Me

First of all: I can only host people again from mid september.

Hmm, I'm a bit of a seeker, a bit of a dreamer... if you'll get to know me better, you would see I'm actually really sober and down to earth.

What else? I'm studying again. Orthopedagogy, it's kind of like social work, let's say, still different. It's about improving the quality of life for the more vulnerable people on individual or group level.

I like to read and study and get into the books. Sometimes, I can overwhelm myself with that. A good solution for that to me is to dance! Embody the body, and dance! Or move freely, as you wish to name it...

I love music, but looking back on the last year, I've been doing other things than practicing music... I play(ed) drums, guitar, keys, and vocals.

Some people would say I'm a bit crazy, well, I am a bit crazy. In that way, that I like to play with what's a norm(al) or not. Or I can get really enthusiastic as well every now and then... But nothing to worry about 😊

"Le véritable voyage de découverte ne consiste pas à chercher de nouveaux paysages, mais à avoir de nouveaux yeux."
- Marcel Proust

Music, Movies, and Books

So much music, it's as diverse as humanity itself. I love world music from different continents. I love acoustic, electric, and electronic. I love melanchonic music as well as uplifting music. There is music for every moment, and there is silence for every moment. Music (and lyrics and writings as well, artforms in general and as broad as youcaninterpret) can touch something inside, inner emotions or past experience we don't know or remember. We forgot we had.

I can write down just some random songs I like:

The The - This Is The Day
Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy
Nat King Cole - Nature Boy
Billie Holiday - Solitude
Maceo and The Macks - Soul Power '74
DB Boulevard - Point Of View
Midlife - Phase II
...
But to be honest, it's infinite and ever-changing...

Rock, Punk, Psychedelic, Soul, Blues, Jazz, Funk, Disco, Alternative, World Music, Ambient, House,...

I like books like On The Road, The Alchemist, The Beach, Are You Experienced?... I read many non-fiction and poetry. I do not really read the newspaper and am pretty ignorant of current affairs tbh. But it's not that it doesn't interest me. It's just a personal choice of spending time.

Movies: Trainspotting, 7 pounds, Limitless, Walk The Line,... Biographies and docus are always interesting...

These subjects (music, books and movies) are really infinite. But the things we listen, read, see, ... really shape our view to the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's difficult to say one thing in particular. If we meet, we can talk 'bout a lot of amazing things life brings us. Moving to another country all by myself was pretty amazing and mind/heart expanding... as well as discovering life is full of a multiplicity of choices.

Teach, Learn, Share

I just like to share the simple things in life. I value simplicity the most. Although my psychological, conceptual thinking also sometimes loves to make it complex 😅

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm pretty calm nowadays (interpet I was wild before 🦒) but always open to new experiences, and as I said before, have a good conversation with one another.

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In
