Hullo!

My name is Stefan, and I was born and raised in Vienna, so you might say, that I know this city very well. But you know, it is nearly impossible to know Vienna as a whole, for it is fast, versatile and it reinvents itself almost every month.

I am a kindergarten teacher, mostly described as vivid, creative, empathetic and open. But I do suck in describing me myself, so I think it would be the best thing, if you make your own picture ;)

My interests are art, social activities, psychology and - most of all - open minded people. People who know they can change things, they can create things and are willingly to do so. People, who can tell interesting stories - and even if it is "just" their own personal one.

I recommend Vienna for all those, who are creative, enjoy some good in depended art and love to get consumed by a city rather more than consuming it - because it is impossible to see all of its glory, but if you let the city guide you, you will have a really exciting time, I think.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I think it's one of the most valuable things you can do: you will meet new people with new stories to tell and their own world to show in a place, you maybe never have visited before - and they are living there, so probably those people are the bed guide you can have for that corners around the world.
I'm always excited to explore new things, and with couch surfing you not only explore cities and places around the world, you discover a few of it's welcoming inhabitants.

Interests

And many more things. I'm into many things, but my motto is: better try a few things once before you refuse them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once a boy I really loved took me with him on to of a very tall scaffolding. It was in the middle of the night in September, so we brought a few bears and a blanked. We sneaked the stairs up and, well, there we sat - several meters above the ground right under the starlight.
Later on I wanted to watch the stars, lying on the thin grid - it was terrifying! Through that grid I could see the ground below me, almost sucking me into the depth. But above me, all the stars shined, glimmering and warm. So there was this completely separated, but somehow just combined feeling of joy and marvel, but also fear. Exactly the way I felt about this boy, sitting next to me. So I kissed him for the first time and everything was in its place - fear and happiness all in one cycle.
