I was born in Angola, but lived in America the last 8 years of my life. I am now living in Japan and teaching English. Will do so for a few years, while I am living in Japan I want to experience the Asian culture as much as I can before continuing with my next adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in couchsurfing because I love to meet new people, and I believe the best way to experience a culture is by meeting people of that culture; the experience then becomes much more enriched.
...And...If i get a host then I won't have to spend money in hotels and stuff :P

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many different kinds of music, some of my favorite artists include, Kendrick Lamar, Panic at the Disco, J Cole, Daniel Ceaser ect.
I watch a lot of movies... Some of my favorites includes: Perks of Being a Wallflower, Breakfast club, Baby Driver, Inception.
Since I was young I have been a sucker for YA romantic comedy books like Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Looking for Alaska (yeah I'm lame) :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was part of a volunteer group to go to Nicaragua and build schools and construct clean water passage ways to make the lives of Nicaraguan citizens a little easier.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share multiple perspectives from the diverse cultural background that I have. So far, I have visited few countries, but all 4 have very different way of life. Considering the amount of time I have spent in each country, I learned a lot about perspective and how it's so easily dismissed. And laughter...That's nice too.
