Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In contrast to other travelers I started to love traveling quite late (when I was around 25). I studied abroad and with that my interest in different cultures got a big boost. I always was somewhat interested in other countries, but long time technology and science was just more interesting. Really experiencing other countries, and seeing in real life what i learned in the lecture intercultural communication (yes computer scientist have that subject, at least at my university) fascinated me.
I think and hope that couchsurfing is one of the best ways to really get to known to local people and that is why I'm here :-)

Movies:
I'm not really into movies but these are must-seen movies in my opinion

Music:
mostly electronic, techno. For easy listening I really like electro swing.
I'm also very relaxed with other music, but i still don't really like metal and hardcore metal and similar things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living abroad!
Swimming in the Arctic ocean (after sauna of course),
hiking glaciers, highest mountain so far was 3800m I think
predicting the future(really! scientifically, no esotericism)

Lot of technical stuff, for example how the Internet works (on a technical level), IT security, analysis of data, cultural things about Germany, politics
