About Me
Hello!
I’m a 24 year old student of visual journalism and documentary photography, living in Hannover, Germany.
I work as a photographer, focusing on portrait, documentary and visual storytelling.
If you wanna see my work you can check my website: www.stefan-nieland.com
In my free time I enjoy playing the piano or Volleyball with my Friends.
Before my studies I did an education as a language correspondent at the school for translators in Würzburg. I am fluent in German, English and Spanish.
My Friends describe me as a communicative, uncomplicated and open minded person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When working on photography projects for my studies I am usually quite limited in budget for those trips.
Couchsurfing is a perfect option to get around, meet people and get in contact with some locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After school I backpacked through South America and had a great time there. Riding a horse through Patagonia was probably one of my highlights.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about photography or share some stories with you if you like.
Also my parents use couchsurfing since 10 years and they always accept guests at our house in Bad Kissingen, Germany. Almost every week there is Someone new in our house.
So if you are interested you can visit us anytime :)
I worked a few years as a Spanish teacher, so I can probably also teach you that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you need any help in your house or if I can return the favor of hosting I will do so.
