About Me

trusting in life inspired by meeting people with fun an passionate open minds and hearts

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just finished traveling Asia and Australia, met so many awesome people. Love meeting people and feeling like family right away, so every chance is a blessing. The more I travel the easier it it to have fun quick with new people, I think we improve so much by these new experiences.

Interests

my greatest passion in the past was social justice,

I've attended a few rallies, and organised another in Wellington, but for me the most important step for our generation is to educate one another.

i learnt about couch surfing by hanging out with many in the awesome places I stayed in Melbourne.

introspective and analytical for the most part, occasionally childishly silly

Music, Movies, and Books

enjoying deep house at the moment but was brought up on metal, i sing in a classical choir and enjoy hiphop. i'll listen to any music and turn it off if i find it self indulgent

like books which give a fresh perspective.
orwell - 1984, not so fresh now as it's just the real world i think the eco crisis would be solved if everyone read "confessions of an eco sinner - journey to find out where my stuff comes from"

thich naht hahn and eckhart tolle are favourite writers on philosophy and mindful presence

Don't like most hollywood much

I prefer docos, "how cuba survived peak oil" is very inspiring, like learning more about current scientific thinking

want to watch 5 broken cameras

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

gave a load of money to the wilderness society and made the volunteer cry tears of joy, volunteering in India, was on TV a load as a kid, worked in TV as an adult but it's not as amazing as it sounds. Met the red hot chili peppers I n the canteen at itv though, that was cool
