About Me
Grias eich! :)
- Austrian German for »I greet you«
This is the shared profile of me (Stefan) and my girlfriend Chelsea.
Chelsea is originally from the US and stumbled into my humble hometown in Linz, Austria, where we met and immediately moved in together 🥰
Chelsea has been totally into Radical Honesty over the last years. She nearly became a certified trainer and has done lots of workshops. Also we're hosting meetups in our flat in Linz regularly.
Her profession is maintaining a blog for dog & cats for a company 🐈
I am a kind of writing artsy philosophy guy.
My financial ground is working as a web developer.
On the side I'm engaged voluntarily at a telephone counselling service for mental health issues and I really like to take long walks, ecspecially during the night.
Personally, we would describe ourselves as open, calm and mindful, as people who can truly listen, love deep conversations and aren't judging easily.
Also, we enjoy just being alone at home, which doesn't mean that we don't like having couchsurfers, but a good balance for us is key ;)
If you have any question (really ANY), just ask - everything's possible somehow.
It doesn't matter if you send us a request because you are filled up with the »couchsurfing spirit«, or if you just need a bed for the night or save some money. Every motive is warm- and open-heartedly welcome here :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Life gives me so much and I want to give at least some of it further to other people. Also I like to expand my perspectives by meeting new people that I wouldn't meet in my daily life.
Also, I love being a host who introduces a newcomer into a rather new culture!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Out of a joke with a friend I did the camino. I walked 260km in 11 days and had a massive experience with other people and myself, which kind of changed my life. Half of the time I slept in a hammock in the wild, it was soo beautiful.
Oh and during my 9-month social service in Austria I was so bored that I wrote a sequel of a book all of my colleagues have read after the first weeks there.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
Playing guitar, showing you around Linz, math, making movies, programming, how to use technology in your favor, writing, saving money, save food from getting thrown away and much more that I somehow know or can.
Learn:
I am enthusiastic for nearly everything and I am more than interested in your talents!
Oh, learning languages would be great!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Life experiences (funny stories included), discussions and talks about nearly any topic - superficial or highly philosophical, a listening ear and a warm and open heart! Presenting my cultural background. A double portion of gratefulness.
If you're interested, ask me about my (trash) movies with my two little twin brothers or my written poems.
Also, I can cook and help with household stuff.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
