About Me

Hey there I'm Stefan, I live in Tuscany and I study engineering in Pisa. Even though in the near future I want to live elsewhere (pretty much like every Italian), I'm proud that I was born in this beautiful region that the whole world envies ;)

Born and raised in Italy by Croatian parents, I'd love to meet someone from these beautiful Serbian/Croatian speakers countries to practice the language which still isn't perfect!

Anything else you want to know...please ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever I'm on vacation or I'm in my hometown, I always seize the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, because most of the times what you carry after a trip are the memories you had with the people you've met :) That's the main reason I have Couchsurfing, since it makes that part of a trip a lot easier to happen.

Music, Movies, and Books

Always trying to diversify in terms of music and movies.
I don't love categorizing music but to give you an idea I am in love with pretty much any rock genre, Italian/American/other languages hip-hop and recently got hooked with jazz.
About the movies I know almost every movie from Tarantino and Kurosawa, and I love Italian classics (like Nuovo Cinema Paradiso or 8 e Mezzo) and of course How I Met Your Mother.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped off a 10/15 m cliff in a lake in Croatia;
Drove a scooter through hairpin bends for the first time in Mykonos after practicing for just 5 minutes (to convince me my friends said that it is like riding a bike... I don't agree with that);
Hit a parked car while doing a downhill with my skateboard (yeah, like in those youtube "epic fail" videos).

Teach, Learn, Share

Obviously, I love sharing what I know and especially LEARN anything from friends and people around me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

What an Italian can offer besides a good plate of Carbonara?
