Soy un tipo tranquilo. Vivo desde inicios de 2015 en la Ciudad de México y en el país como 7 años más entre Oaxaca, Chiapas y la CDMX.
Me encanta México y lo que más me ha emocionado es la gente. Las luchas sociales y la dedicación que he visto en muchas personas me dan la esperanza de que se pueda cambiar la situación de violencia e injusticias que se vive actualmente en muchas partes. A través de la colaboración en diferentes proyectos y organizaciones relacionadas a la defensa de los derechos humanos y los movimientos sociales he podido conectar con esa parte y estoy agradecido por lo que pude y puedo conocer y aprender.
A parte de este aspecto me gusta conocer cosas nuevas, personas, lugares, comida, etc. La naturaleza, los paisajes me encantan, ir en bici, senderismo.

Calm guy. I live in Mexico City since the beginning of 2015 and in the country 7 years more, in Oaxaca, Chiapas, Mexico City.
I love Mexico and what has most inspired me is the people. The social movement and the dedication of many people let hope for a change in the situation of social injustice and violence which is dominating in many places right now. By colaborating in diferent projects and organizations related to human rights and social movements I had the chance to connect with this aspect and I am thankful about what I knew and learn/ed.
Apart of this aspect I love to know new stuff, people, places, food etc. I am amazed of nature, landscapes, go hiking or by bike.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Al conocer un lugar me parece lo más interesante lo que pueden contar las personas que viven allí. No solo para saber qué pasa allí y para conocer lugares que solito no podría encontrar sino también para conocer opiniones, ideas, problemáticas, esperanzas. Nuevas perspectivas pues. Y si es posible también conocer algo del activismo, de las luchas sociales por justicia, paz, no discriminación etc. en que está la gente en ese lugar, de las problematicas sociales.

While knowing knew places the most most interesting part is what locals can tell. Not only to know what´s going on and to know places you could never find on your own but knowing the opinions, ideas, problems, hopes. New perspectives. And if possible know some of the activism also, of the social movements for justice, peace, no discrimination etc. in which the people are into.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

De las experiencias especiales de que me acuerdo varias han sido al viajar pidiendo ride. El no saber qué va a pasar, a dónde voy a llegar y dónde voy a dormir ha sido emocionante y se han dado muchas experiencias de hospitalidad y de conocer personas que en otros contextos seguramente no hubiera conocido. Una de esas veces el ride se convirtió en un tour en barco durante 5 días en el Mar de Cortés viendo una gran cantidad de especies de animales a parte del paisaje hermoso de esa región.

About the special experiences I remember some had been while hitchhiking. Not to know what will happen, where will I get, whre will I sleep is quite thrilling and ther have been a lot of experiences of hospitality and meeting people I would not have met in other contexts. One of those times the ride converted into a 5 days boat trip at Gulf of California seeing a lot of species of animals a part of the beautiful landscape of that region.
