About Me

An open-minded person who loves to travel and learn about new things. Interested in different cultures and eager to meet people from all around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I genuinely want to support this network that works in the service of people so they could more easily travel and get together with one another. I'm interested both in hosting people in Novi Sad and traveling abroad. In these times, more than ever, we need to find time and effort to come together as open-minded people and create good conditions for traveling and meeting.

Interests

I am mostly interested in listening to and playing music. The guitar is my prime instrument, but recently I've started to play drums too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: John Coltrane, Chet Baker

Movies/movie directors: Asghar Farhadi

Books: The Book of Mirdad by Mikha'il Na'ima; Fear and Trembling by Søren Kirkegaard

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got a job as a German teacher after unofficially educating myself during my 10-month stay in Leipzig. :)

Flew an airplane with my CS host and friend Konstantinos all over Crete in 2023.

Completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek in Nepal 2024 and crossed the Thorong La pass at 5416 m altitude.

Without planning, I spent a night at a bus station in Milwaukee after being denied a stay at the city hotel.

I met Lopön Tenzin Namdak, the most prominent and most senior Tibetan spiritual leader.

Teach, Learn, Share

All the pianos are out of tune. :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

A comfortable and clean place to stay, use of my kitchen (I'd be happy to cook for you), a cup of tea, and a conversation.

You can use my washing machine if you tell me about it in advance.

I'd be happy to show you the city or at least recommend some nice places in case I happen to be busy at the time. I do work from home sometimes, so I'll tell you about my working schedule in advance so you can plan your stay accordingly.
