ABOUT ME

Ich bin ein offener Mensch, der fast alles, was er noch nicht gemacht hat, ausprobieren will. Und das, was ich schon gemacht habe, meistens nochmal wiederholen, weil es eine gute Erfahrung war.
Den Kopf lasse ich nie hängen, glaube, durch positives Denken den Fortgang der Dinge beeinflussen zu können.
Ich will die Welt bereisen, die Kultur verstehen. Halte nix von Pauschal-Allesgleich-Saufmichtot-Sandstrand-Reisen.

Mich interessiert Politik, die Gesellschaft, was sie zusammenhält, wie sie aufgebaut ist, warum sie funktioniert. Lange, passionierte Diskussionen sind unglaublich toll für mich.

I am an openminded person who wants to try out nearly everything and wants to repeat most of the things I have experienced because it was good.
Positive thinking is my core feature, I believe that like this bad things might still turn out well.

Travelling the world, understanding its culture. I don't believe in those ready made travels.

I am very interested in politics, the society, what keeps it together, how it is formed, why it works out. Long, passionate discussions are what I enjoy a lot.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

ich habe Couchsurfing erst vor kurzem entdeckt und soweit noch nicht die Möglichkeit gehabt, diese Gemeinschaft zu erleben.

I discovered Couchsurfing only a few months ago and haven't had the chance to enjoy the experience many people have shared so far.

Interests

Wein. Nicht nur das Trinken, sondern auch der Anbau und das Ernten. Politik. Inländische und Ausländische. Bücher. Vor allem Krimis. Filme. Oft solche mit Tiefgang. Musik. Das, was im Radio läuft und passioniert das, was Orchester spielen.

Music, Movies, and Books

Unter anderem finde ich toll: Rachmaninovs 2. Klavierkonzert, The Leisure Society, Richard Wagner. Filme mag ich vorallem nicht die kommerziellsten, Arthouse und Doku-Streifen. Peter Stamm ist mein Lieblingsautor, ich mag Henning Mankell sehr, John Grisham und TC. Boyle bei den englischsprachigen und Michel Houellebecq bei den französischsprachigen Autoren.

I like Rachmaninov's second piano concerto, The Leisure Society, Richard Wagner. I like noncommercial films and documentaries, also tv series, like Elementary or Homeland. TC. Boyle and John Grisham are among my favourite authors, as well as Michel Houellebecq, germanspeaking, I love the books by Peter Stamm. Also Henning Mankell is very pleasant to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Den Säntis hochgewandert. Das ist ein hoher Berg in der Ostschweiz. Spontan, gegen Mittag mit meiner Partnerin aufgebrochen. Unterwegs viel über das Leben, die Liebe und Freundschaft gelernt. Und ein faszinierendes Spiel von Nebel und Sonne erlebt.

Aber daneben finde ich den Alltag eigentlich meist "pretty amazing".

Past summer, I hiked up the Säntis, a pretty high mountain in the east of Switzerland. Spontaneously, my girlfriend and me decided to start going by around noon. Talked a lot about love, life, expectations. And we saw the most amazing game of sun and fog ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ich mag es, von Menschen zu lernen. Ich finde es wichtig, Fehler zu machen, daraus zu lernen. Am liebsten lerne ich Sprachen, gerade im Moment versuche ich mich an Estnisch.
