About Me

I absolutely love life and it’s just magical to be on this unique planet with its amazing nature! I try to maintain a children’s mindset: always curious, always interested in learning something new, and never say no to a fun ride on a water slide! My further passions are travelling slowly (bike or walking), plant-based food, sleep, rocks and minerals.

Don't worry, everything is going to be amazing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's all about surfing, hosting, laughing, and constantly being amazed by the kindness of people all over the world.
My first couchsurfing was in Staint-Louis (Senegal) in 2010 and it was a mesmerizing experience! Thereafter couchsurfing made my bike trip from Berlin to Lisboa an unforgettable journey! And now I'm happy as a clam to host the world in our permanent home place in Zurich.

Interests

I generally like outdoor activities, thinking about the world, getting stuff done and embracing randomness. And I love cooking without limits, and card/board games too :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I came up with the list long time ago and constantly miss the opportunity to updated it hahaha
Mo: "Searching for sugar man", "into the wild", "Once", "The Big Lebowski", and many more (it's all in the mind)
Mu: "Pete and the Pirats", "The Black Keys", "Blink182", "Young Rebel Set", and many more (strongly mood dependent).
Bo: "Why we sleep", "Measuring the World", "How not to die", and many more (books are unbeatable)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the Arctic Circle Trail in Greenland: At a distance of roughly 80km away from civilization in all four directions, I caught a fish standing in an ice-cold river using a historic Greenlandic spear; serving dinner for 5 persons, that otherwise would have starved to death. Ok not to death, but non-natural highly processed food might kill you on the long-run.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn how to defend myself against inceptions. Please be my teacher!
I could teach you how to cut a card game using only one hand. Sounds not really cliff-hanging, but just you wait and see... wait and see.
