ABOUT ME

[Update]:

I am a 25 year old student from Germany who currently lives in Sherman, TX for a year. After my exchange program ends I want to travel the Westcoast and then in June I have to leave the country and go back to Germany, where I will finish my degree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I try to be a wonderful guest and as soon as I get home and will have figured out where to live I will try to be just as good a host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

[Update 2]: Since my last update, there have been many unforgettable CS-experiences, check my friends-list for all the amazing people I got to meet. The coolest thing was to host and hang out with Nick Vance in Mainz, since he had hosted me in San Diego back in 09.

[Update 1]:Now i actually do have a first experience i can talk about: thanks to my amazing first host lulu :) she introduced to me to world of couchsurfing when i stayed with her in DC. we had a lot of fun, great and long conversations, and a ultimate shot of absolut ;) i only spent 3 days at her appartment, but in these 3 days i got to know a scottish, an estonian, an israeli, and a tunesian couchsurfer through her. i will never forget this first time and i hope someday i will see her again!

Since I'm a total newbie when it comes to Couchsurfing, I cant provide you with any awesome anecdotes....YET :]

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big movie fan, the list would be neverending. Same thing for music, I listen to music from every genre. In the past year I espcially learned to love Ratatat. I also like to read, currently I am reading "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped of a cliff in Sardinia, and quite recently witnessed the sunset at the Grand Canyon. I rode the freefall tower on the top of the Stratosphere Tower. I also ate a deep-fried snickers bar because I couldnt imagine something like this exists before I came to Texas. Impressions I never forget :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I cant think of any spectacular skills that I could teach, but I am always willing to teach German to everybody who's interested.
