Born and raised a small village in eastern Switzerland I really enjoyed my life in the countryside. Shortly after turning 18 I moved to Zurich, the biggest city in Switzerland. That's where my CouchSurfing career started and I fell in love with this community. Since 2025 my life has taken a new way: during six months every year I'll be living and working in the mountains and I'm happy to be able to host guests too here in Celerina, right on the doorstep of the famous ski resort St. Moritz.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because seeing the places where I am through the eyes of a local means much more to me than visiting famous landmarks. I'm the happiest when I can follow the daily routine of my host and get to know their life for a bit.

Interests

I'm up for almost everything and my best experiences are the spontaneous ones. Wherever I am I love to visit a local movie theater since I'm a big big film lover! But also concerts, visit to local restaurants or just meeting up with friends brings joy to my life.

I feel really lucky that I can call the Alps home and therefore I'll try to spend as much time as possible outside cycling, paragliding, hiking, ski touring or just sitting in the sun. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

There isn't a specific genre I love most. My music taste changes with my mood of the day and varies from Rock to Alternative to Funk to Pop to Jazz to Folk to Classical Music. But I sure do enjoy myself the most at live-concerts and music festivals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This! I'm so glad I joined CouchSurfing. Probably one of the best decisions I made in my life, so far... =)

I cycled from New York City to Miami during two months in spring 2013, and took a Cargo-Ship twice to cross the Atlantic ocean. I do love to cycle everywhere! The longer the tour, the more fun!
