Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like a range of stuff really, some classic rock from the 60s and 70s, bit of modern indie like Foster the People.

Movies: Love Tarantino films with favourites being Django Unchained and Kill Bill, also a fan of Lawrence of Arabia, Avatar and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Books: Anything by Hemingway or Kerouac, really love Tolkien not just Lord of the Rings but the Hobbit and the Children of Hurin. Hunger Games, Harry Potter, love philosophical books on existentialism such as Sartre and Camus.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played football against a team of Buddhist monks.

Backpacked Mexico to Canada.

Excavated an Ice Age cave as an archaeologist.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I'm happy to help teach some English, I can also teach people how to cook some hearty meals I know, I can teach people a lot about the environment and how nature works.

Learn: I have a bucketlist of things I want to learn so if you can help with any of the following please get in contact!

-Fishing
-Ice skating (well)
-Outdoorskills

Share: As for sharing, I love to hike and explore national parks and the wilderness so if that's you too this is something we can share and go explore together!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My culture and a somewhat good knowledge of the outdoors, I like to cook and can happily cook for a host, perhaps some creative writing, I love to write stories and poems. Finally, stories, I have a lot of strange travel stories I am happy to share including exploring a Soviet Prison in Estonia, Romanian train journeys and hiking in Cuban jungles.

Oh also I usually travel with my camera, I am by no means a professional photographer nor do I pretend to be that amazingy good but if we visit cool places together I'm totally cool to take some awesome photos of yourself and give them to you if you like!
