COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have to admit I grow disappointed with the direction CS is going. Nowadays generic requests are sent out on a daily basis and I had to create a template for the real crappy requests to save time in replying. If you are a good person with a good spirit we will be happy to put you up but don't give me the copy-and-paste bs please.

It's been one hell of a great time ever since I signed up for this amazing project. I surfed couches in Israel, the West Bank, the US, Germany, Croatia, Serbia, Greece... and met a bunch of great people.
Here in Munich I hosted people from all over the US, Canada, Australia, Israel, Estonia, Pakistan, Uruguay, England and the list goes on. I've been convincing a bunch of my buddies here to sign up and still spread the word. If I was a millionare I'd still try to find a good couch rather than a fancy hotel room...

Sometimes I manage to go to CS events... I was at a great CS party in Athens, Greece 2009 (Polynesian Night), several CS parties in Israel and a great CS Party in Brooklyn, New York 2011.

I hope I can extend my experiences to Southeast Asia, South America and Australia in the next decades...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Danced the Hora in the Negev Desert with Or Ganani and lots of other cool people.

Drinking beer at the world's lowest point - some 430 meters below sea level - (Dead Sea, Israel) - after 2 Maccabis I was completely wasted and stoned (in general I can cope with some 10-15 beers easily).

Encountering a desert wolf at 5 in the morning at Mt. Masada's snake path in Israel. Wolf was already approaching me but al of a sudden, some loud americans showed up and saved my ass ;o)

Watching the sun rise from the hollywood hills with an aussie friend of mine.

Performing at a karaoke party in Miami Beach during Spring Break '05 with 5 guys from england and the worst "Let it be" Version ever.

Singing the Beastie Boys "She's crafty" at a Karaoke Party in Athens with my buddy Isaac and right after that Tenacious D's "Tribute". Since it was a bunch of fratboys in the audience nobody would know any of these songs but we had great fun.

Hiking up the Meteora Mountains in Kalambaka, Greece with my friend Isaac Armour.

The Neil Diamond Concert 2008 was awesome and so was Springsteen.

Winning the St. Patricks Day 2011 Dallas Strip Flip Cup Contest.

July 2011: Getting all crazy on the spanish Island of Ibiza. Dancing the nights away in the clubs, jumping from cliffs and swimming in the sea at the most hidden beaches, enjoying the best paellas in the world and smiling 24/7 while on this beautiful island.
