About Me

I live in Attard, in the centre of Malta. It’s a quieter, residential area compared to the Sliema area, but well connected by buses and cabs.

Am I a local? Yes. I’ve lived here since I was 7, went to Maltese schools, and speak fluent Maltese daily. One parent is Maltese, the other German. I don’t look typically Maltese, but I understand both Maltese and German cultures and speak decent German.

I’m a qualified accountant working in finance, with experience in investment analysis and currently work in process management.

I’m also a digital artist, drawing freehand and working with 3D software.

I enjoy city breaks across Europe, especially in the north—modern art museums, landmarks, local food, and coffee culture. (In November 2025 I visited the Erwin Olaf exhibit at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.)

Other facts: I love Asian cuisine, enjoy quiet nights in, and have a witty, sometimes dark sense of humour. I’m straightforward, honest, empathetic, and care deeply about other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

1. To host
2. Give and receive company.
3. Share experiences, talk about our lives in different countries and cultures.
4. Possibly go to some location in malta, have dinner, etc.
5. If you are athletic / have muscular legs, possibly you can offer to pose for photos / sketches for my digital art.

Interesting qualities I liked in past surfers:
People serious about any sport, even professionally
People with cool or different jobs, especially disciplined services
Quiet, polite, maybe nerdy guys with unique interests
Sense of humour
People seeking more than just a place to sleep
Clean people

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done is to keep taking my illustrations further.

A good decision was to open my home to couchsurfers.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can give you any information about Malta. I can teach you how to draw a human figure digitally by hand. I can teach you words and sentences in German, Italian and Maltese. I can correct your English if you ask me to, so you can learn from your mistakes.

Learn: About your culture and getting to know new people.

Share: Check the My Home section on the things I can offer my guests. Provide food at my place.
