About Me

Hi everyone! I'm a 21 political science student, originally from a village in the north-east part of Italy. At the age of 18 I moved to Bologna and I completely fell in love with the city. Definitively, I can say I've found my home there.
Now, I'm spending six months in Brazil with an exchange program and I'm living this crazy experience up!
I didn't use to travel a lot with my family, but now I want to exploit all the possibilities I have to know and to live this world. Every place I discover, every person I meet is a way to know a little better myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like sharing experiences with people. I came to the conclusion that, basically, life is nothing more that the relationships we establish with the others, and I think it couldn't be more true when you are traveling.
A place is made by the people who live there, so, if you can spent even a short time with them, you win!
Then I love the logic of Couchsurfing. Unfortunately it's very hard to put it into practice in everyday life, but when it's possible to do it, why not? ;)

Interests

In general, I can say I'm interested in themes which deal with the area that I study.
I can add that something I'm very fascinated with is art, or better, with everything people can use to express themselves.

Music, Movies, and Books

Actually, I don't have a favorite genre of music. It depends a lot on my mood. Some names are: Rino Gaetano and Mannarino, or bands like Gogol Bordello, Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros, theAngelcy, Desire, Alt-j, La femme, Of Monsters and Men, Mumford and Sons, The Chromatics, but also the great classics like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Nina Simone, Bob Marley.
I think that for movies is the same, but in that moment I'm quite interested in Italian cinema, in autores like Fellini, Monicelli, Sergio leone, De Sica, Bertolini...
As regards book, some of my favorite writers are Isabel Allende, George Orwell, Giovanni Verga and Fëdor Dostoevskij.
