I grew up traveling from north to south, since my family's roots are set in Calabria. That's why I've been switching through different perspectives since ever. Also, I've always been arranging little brief journeys, especially by train, especially on my own, who I never mind traveling with.

I have no particular fanatism, nor extremism, except the one for Beauty, which I love to find out by wide-linking the most various elements of existence.

I like both arts and science, as I recognize they represent two different needs of man; I'm just unsure about which one I shall study and practice chiefly. That's one of the reasons why I'm taking a break and traveling right now: to clarify my mind.

I'm quite a loner, not in the pitiful way it sounds to most of people. Unless I have chosen travel companions, I quite like roaming on my own. Nevertheless, I love finding the chance to have long chats and walks, getting to know different points of view, and especially meeting people who are actually able to give a human response.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it could be, by far, one of the most brilliant ways of traveling.
Anyone's in the constant need to move until they find their own Horatian "aura mediocritas"; getting such an affordable chance to be made rich along this path with different perspectives, cultures, attitudes, habits, definetly allows us no more excuse to stay in our comfortable spot.
