About Me

👋My full name is Stefanie, but please call me Steff. You can also use Steffi or Anie😊

🧑I grew up in a small town in Lower Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. I started to go on holidays just a few times after I turned 18 because I used to have still a full time job in the logistics sector. After working for a couple of years I quit my job and went with my best friend to New Zealand on a working holiday visa and stayed for 15 months. After 2 extra months in Australia I returned to Germany in July 2018. I tried to settle down and fit into the society but after 4 years of living a stereotypical life I noticed it wasn't enough to fulfill my life and because of the pandemic I got stuck and missed going abroad. I was lucky to still have a full time job which allowed me to save money which I'd have had normally spent on 3 vacations per year.
And then I thought:
Now or never!

🎉In 2022 I quit my job, sold my car and my furniture and packed away my belongings.
I started a new chapter in life.

🗺️Since July 2022 I've been on/off traveling in different countries on different continents.

🎒I'm happy to tell you more about my life and how I've found a way to be happier even if it means to give up a safe life to get freedom. And I can share also the dark side of solo traveling for a longer time because not everything is always going well.

📖What's your story and what kind of chapter are you currently writing of your lifetime book?

🌱To avoid misunderstandings I have to mention that I'm on a vegan diet.

🏡I can't be a host because I don't even have a home.. But if I should ever find my place in this beautiful world, I'll be happy to welcome surfers!
