About Me

*** PLEASE READ FIRST ***
- Surfers, please read the "My Home" section before sending a message. I'll decline your request if you don't.
- I only accept friend requests from people I've interacted with.
- Couchsurfing is not a dating site. Don't message me trying to chat.

I'm a Type A personality trying desperately to be Type B. Been traveling around the world since September 2015 and am now happily based in Belgrade, Serbia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life and travel are best with good food and good company. I find Couchsurfing is the best way to meet new friends when exploring and get the best local experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The decision to leave the US and travel without a plan was the most amazing thing I've done. Countless other amazing things have happened since then :)

Teach, Learn, Share

What's most popular among my couchsurfing friends are my skills as a native English speaker. I can help you with any problems you might have with the language.

As a former pageant girl, I can teach you how to use makeup to make you look your best self. I can also teach you about the American political system, flags of countries, history of Yugoslavia, and some delicious recipes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think it's incredibly important to get a genuine experience of every place I travel to, and often times you can't find that in a hostel or Airbnb. With couchsurfing, I aim to learn what I can from my hosts about their perspectives and everyday life.

A few things you can expect from hosting me:

- I'm an introvert and often keep to myself. I know what it's like to have too many guests at once and think personal space is important. I'll do my best to be courteous and not interfere with your personal space.

- I'm a curious person. Despite my introversion, I will spend my time with you asking lots of questions. If you have the time to show me around town and teach me its history, I'll be super happy. But don't feel like you need to have all the answers! We're often the worst tourists in our own towns.

- I'm grateful for your generosity in letting me stay with you. That being said, please let me cook or clean your kitchen. I really enjoy making food for others and think it's the best way to learn about and share cultural experiences. It's the least I can do to repay the favor :)
