Overview
About Me
Just a simple and nice girl with a weird sense of humor. Reading is my life, movies fill my soul and chocolate keeps me standing up.
I am the one you talk to whenever you feel bad or when there is anything that needs Googling.
A small town girl, with a heart for the whole wide world.
After many detours, I'm now getting my Bachelor's degree in American Studies with a focus on contemporary literature and religion. Give me a Young Adult Fiction novel and I will tell you why reading it will enhance your life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Nothing can make you feel more at home in a foreign city, than discovering it with a local.
I work as a student assistant at the 'Institute of Public Health' and get to spent my time with people from all over the world, but mainly from developing countries. I enjoy making them feel at home in this far away country and know how grateful they are for the insight a native can give them. That is what I want to experience when I travel.
As I currently live in a tiny one room apartment in student housing, I can't host guests. I do plan on having a normal sized apartment one day though, so that will change.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to the Top 40, Soundtracks, Musicals and occasionally some Country
As I do have an older brother, it was all 'Back to the Future', 'Star Wars' and 'Indiana Jones' for me. Apart from these movies, I'm a huge 'Lord of the Rings', 'Hunger Games', 'Pirates of the Caribbean', 'National Treasure' and 'Gone with the Wind' fan. Being a girl, there are of course lots of Rom-Coms and Disney movies I can watch over and over and over again.
Books, well I do study literature. Still, the ones I read multiple times are mainly Young Adult Fiction, or girly Fantasy books. 'Lord of the Rings', 'The Hobbit', 'Harry Potter' and Jane Austen novels are a given.
