CURRENT MISSION

Exploring South America with my girlfriend Lucia for roughly six months (December 24 to June 25) and meeting many fascinating people along the way.

ABOUT ME

I have just quit my job working as an oncologist in a big hospital in Berlin, Germany, to escape from the harsh German winter and finally visit South America for the first time.
I love sports, nature and the great outdoors, with some of my favourite activities being hiking, long-distance cycling and kayaking.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mostly provide my couch to whoever is brave enough to come to cold Germany.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I normally travel by bike and camp somewhere along the road in my tent. When I get in touch with other couchsurfers, I typically want to meet up with locals to show me a bit around and tell me their stories.
Currently, I am travelling with my girlfriend Lucia through Patagonia and we would love to be hosted by nice locals every now and then and return the favour by preparing delicious meals for our hosts.

I've crossed the Alps from Germany to Italy on a 20€ 3-gear lady's city bike with back-pedalling brake and absolutely loved it. It took 2 weeks.
