Overview
About Me
Heyho, my name is Stefan. Currently I'm doing a German-French Bachelor in Cross-Border Communication and Cooperation. Therefore, I can speak German and French quite well. My English language skills are still expandable. I'm always curious about learning new things and discovering different perspectives on life. I'm especially interested in travelling, cinema, social issues, sport, hiking, dancing, the connection between emotions and the mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mostly because I am convinced that every person you meet knows something you don't. Especially while traveling, I find it very refreshing to talk to people that are not part of my daily routines, cause often they surprise me with new thoughts. And also cause I believe in hospitality and sharing! So far I'm amazed by the trust that people have here in complete strangers. At least my experiences have been great since I got to meet lots of intriguing and overwhelmingly friendly people.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music at the moment comes from: Pink Floyd, Coco Rosie, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arcade Fire, Eric Burdon and the Animals, Radiohead, The Doors and Shantel
Books: Night Train to Lisbon, Crime and Punishment, Into the Wild, Harry Potter and Le petit prince
Movies: La collectionneuse, Waltz with Bashir, The Dreamers, Matchpoint, Midnight in Paris, Oh Boy, Le diner de cons, Inside Llewyn Davis and Ex Machina
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once my brother and I were invited by a Croatian family for dinner, although I just wanted to look secretly and quietly in their front garden. Finally, it was a wonderful evening with a lively conversation and super delicious self-caught mussels.
