About Me
Hi! I'm a Chemistry postgraduate student at the University of Bologna.
I'm from a very small town in Abruzzo, a mountainous region in the middle-south of Italy, but I've been living in Bologna as a student for some years: thus, I currently consider it my physical and moral home.
I have a humanistic background from high school, and try to keep my mind as open as possible; so don't worry: I am not a "cold unsensitive scientist".
I consider myself a very respectful person, and abide by the following rule: treat others the way you want be treated.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because, like they did in some ancient civilisations, I believe that hospitality is sacred, regardless of the person's background. And since CS is definitely much more than a hostel website, I am actually looking for meeting new kind and open-minded pals to share some good moments with.
Although I have subscribed in 2016, I am starting to actively use CS only now (October 2019).

Music, Movies, and Books
My biggest passion is music (even if I don't play any musical instruments). I mostly listen to heavy metal music, but I'm open to any kind of good music, especially if it's sad and sentimental (yup, my favourite songs are actually sad songs). If I had to pick two bands that shaped my personality, I would go with Deep Purple and Opeth.
Though I like watching movies and going to cinemas, my cinematographic culture is still pretty barren, so I would appreciate suggestions regarding this field.
Books: I admit I used to read much more than I do now, simply because when I am not studying I tend to distract myself with other activities. Special mention to one book I love: Narcissus and Goldmund (Herman Hesse).
Teach, Learn, Share
Instead of thinking that I have to teach stuff to others, I prefer to say that I have to share things with others. And learn from them, of course.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Do I really need to show off that I can offer anything no other people can? Nope, I don't.
So, since I truly enjoy the smallest things in life, that's also what I can offer at my best: some good conversations regarding a pretty varied range of topics, some (hopefully) good company for hanging out, and so on.
