ABOUT ME

We are two Italian guys, Stefano and Alberto, both 24 y/o. We have just graduated from our Master in Management at the French school ESCP Europe. Our studies took us to live together for the last three years in three differents countries nad cities such a Torino, London and Paris. Before starting the full time working-life we have decided to realized a big trip/adventure in South America from January 2013 for around three months. In our trip we will pass throw several countries such as Brasil, Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru and Chile. Our intention is not only to visit the main cities and national parks but also to get in real contact with local people, traditions and cultures. For this reason, during our trip we will visit some NGO centres and differents farmers and producers which have carried their activities for entire generations.
We are both easy-going, open-minded and funny guys, but to better understand each of us, here it is a short individual description :

ALBERTO: I am originally from Turin (or Torino) a wonderful city in the Northwest of Italy located between the mountains and the sea. So, it is a perfect spot for snowboarding in the winter and seaside in the summer! I have been playing rugby for the 6 years and I really love that sport and its spirit. I am not currently playing because I'm doing an internship in Paris at the moment which does not leave me enough time to do it. But I really hope to come back on the field on 2013 :)
I have a big passion regarding food and discover the different traditions in each countries: in the last 4 years I have lived in Australia, Italy, UK and France and I have the opportunity to taste a wide variabilitiy of cousines.
I have been lucky because I am a big traveller. Thanks to my family first and now on my own, I have been lucky to travel in the 5 continents. I am not fed up, I am still more curious.

STEFANO: I've just finished my studies and my internship in consultancy in France. I've been doing the same master of Alberto and I've been travelling a lot in my life: Israel,Island, Lapland,Botswana,Libya,Scotland, New York and the most part of Europe.

I particularly enjoyed the wilder countries and I'd love to have some more wonderful experience in these kinds of endeavours.

I've been playing water-polo, football while enjoying playing my base guitar in a Band called "No Richard".I love to take people pictures and cook, overall italian food but I'm keen on knowing different recepies!

I've never had such a long trip because I was waiting for the right period, the right mood and the perfect palce where to head to...I think to have found it: the Latin America right after my studies and I think that THIS IS THE MOMENT...

PHILOSOPHY

We are easy going guys..we are curious almost about every thing that worths our attention and we love share experieces with other people, overal if they have a complete different kind of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are currently looking for people wthat kindly host us in our South American trip.
Once back, we are more than welcome to host: Stefano in Turin and Alberto in Paris.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have already had a couchsurfing experience together in the Netherlands last September. We had a long-weekend bike trip. We rented two bikes and cycle in the North of the country throw mills, countryside, tulipans, dunes of sands and beaches. In this very nice (but too short) experience we surfed one night at ALCO's place in Anna Pawlona and for one night as well in Alkmaar.

Unfortunately that was only a short holiday and we could spent just one night at the couchsurfers' place. In our future experience we would like to spend more time and share more experiences with hosters.

Alberto: before our experience in the Netherlands, I had some couchsurfing experiences in Brazil (in Natal) and in the West coast of Australia and I had a couple of guests at my place as well. I really liked those experience, so I took my friend Stefano into it!

Intereses

We share our passion for music (Alberto more on the electro side and Stefano on the Rock one). We love sports and trips.

We are fond of meeting foreigner, strange and nice people with whom spend sometime togheter: a chilling moment like watching a movie , a crazy night,an hangover...an eandeavour or a simple interesting chat in front of good homemade food. We are great cooks and being italian certeanly helps!!

Música, películas y libros

We love Indie rock, rock, elettro music.
Our prefered old rock groups are Led Zeppelin, Queen, Deep Purple etc...Talkng about new ones..Grizzly Bear, Beach House, Beirut. We have been, the two of us together, to the festival Rock en Seine, Pitchfork..two of great festival rock and elettro in Europe.

A movie diretor that we like is Wes Anderson..a great movie by our side: Ray, Into the Wild. We love series as well, like Breaking bad or Boardwalk Empire...

We are both of us two very active guys which like to carry on projects besides our job of studies. Alberto is the party planner of the duo: organizing big parties in Torino, he always know the right place to go wherever you go. Stefano is more the artistic guy of the duo: his passion for music and photos reflects his open-minded spirit.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

In our trip in Netherland we learnt how to cope with different kind of people: from the couple with whom we had a simple and nice dinner or with a guy with whom we hung out to dance and have few beers.
We found our-selves able to adapt to every sort of situation and get from that the best we could.
We are, by nature, always at our ease besides always beeing polite.
