About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living and studying abroad for getting back home in Italy with a wider and better view of my country...and maybe help in the process of changing stuff there!

ABOUT ME

My friends will probably suggest everybody to avoid asking me about politics and philosophy; these are my favorite topics and i'll guess i became sort of "verbose" about these stuff! :) On the other hand they'll also say that i'm an humble person, always polite, helpful and trustworthy (at least that's what they told me! :D). I love good books and good talks and i'm confident with the consideration that meeting new people is what makes someone's personality better and stronger! This "place" seems the perfect place for that! :)

PHILOSOPHY

"Gasp then Sing" (Dredg)

"I tell you: one must still have chaos within oneself, to give birth to a dancing star." (F. Nietzsche)

"Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.” (C. Pavese)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been sort of a "hidden host" when i was living in Cardiff (Wales) with my dear german friend Johannes Schulte. He is a CS and we had 5/6 people crushing our couch there! He introduced me to the community and i finally decided to join! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Living as a student in Italy and Wales i had the possibility of hosting couchsurfers through my flatmate Johannes...finally decided to give the website a try! :)

Interests

My main interests are politics, philosophy, music and, obviously, travelling! :)
I play acoustic/electric guitar and listen mostly to alt-rock stuff, but i don't disdain well played music in every genre! I love travelling around Europe for getting to different gigs and festivals!
When in Italy i volunteer as an animator for children and teenagers in something similar to a Scouts group, a great experience of gratuitousness and joy!
I'm also a counselor in my village city hall (since last election) but, currently, i'm enjoying living in Stockholm (Sweden) where i'm doing an internship in the Italian Embassy after graduating in political philosophy in Trento's Uni (italy).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Driving for a certain beach in Natal (Brasil) with my bike, getting there late, exhausted, for watching the amazing sunset. A bartender, from is little kiosk, saw me panting and offered me some coconut milk; a little, but really appreciated, warm gesture!

2) Pretty much most of the nights out spent while doing Erasmus in Cardiff (Wales), meeting people from all over Europe and creating new solid friendships.

3) Driving around Ireland with my best friends, no particular direction, enjoyin' the beautiful landscapes of that wonderful country!
