About Me

I have lots of interests and not enough time, so I end up daydreaming about pizza and cats. Basically, my goal is to find time for maths, music, photography, and much more - or to enjoy the whole thing while I try to do everything and fail miserably!

I'm 30 on my documents, 15 in my brain (not in a bad sense tho) and 50+ when it comes to sport or something like that - right now I don't feel too much like YAY! ADVENTURE!!, more like YAY! LET'S HAVE A BEER TOGETHER!!. I'm a sort of hyperactive potato couch.

I'm a peaceful and expansive person that loves to relate with interesting/smart/one-of-a-kind people of all sorts, people that have more questions than answers, and people that have a sense of humour much bigger than their ego.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can't say I'm a globetrotter myself, but to me traveling means to explore and merge with the culture of a place. Couchsurfing is a way to build a host-guest relation that gives you exactly this, a taste of what it means to live somewhere, and not just to visit or pass by.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: either you make me laugh big time (Leslie Nielsen, anyone?) or you go deep in the psycho-stuff (Shutter Island, Inception, Unknown.. just to name a few of the latest). Some quality action and sci-fi is fine too.

Music: I'm open to many things, my main field is techno, house and such, but I love everything that is not too cheesy or extreme (black metal? nah. I'm more for prog). So, classical, jazz, motown, hip hop (but keep it old school), dub...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went clubbing two days in a row!

I laid down on a bench here in Cologne and listened to the amazing chirp of birds chatting at 5 AM.

I have a Derrick May autograph dedicated to "The Boring Guy" - which is me (although I originally meant "annoying").

Uhm...ok, not so amazing. But I don't complain too much!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach and I love to learn: I've been tutoring kids/teens/seniors in maths, physics and a bit of everything for a long time and it's really super. Still, if you want to learn some italian from me, get ready to start from the useless and/or the swearing. Why starting from the ABC?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Time, attention, ideas. And recipes, but don't expect too much.
