Overview
About Me
I am a Mechanical Engineering Master student at Politecnico di Milano, in Italy. I lived most of my life in Italy, traveling here and there for weekends and holidays. I lived for six months in The Netherlands as an exchange student at TU Delft.
I am quite a versatile person, I like to have fun and I try to make the most of every experience I live. I like to spend my spare time in outdoor activities. I love almost every board sport, I am quite a snowboarder and I am a newbie in the surfing and kitesurfing world. I have a camera, which doesn't qualify me as a photographer, but I like to take pictures and try to get something interesting out of them. I like to keep myself active, I get easily bored doing nothing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really love traveling. I think the best way to get in touch with new people and culture is to live closer to their habits. What I value about traveling is the possibility to build durable relationships at thousands of kilometers distance. I'd love to accept guests, yet I still live with my family and that makes my house quite crowded; maybe I'll be able to do so in a few years, once I got my own place.
Interests
I'm more an outside person, yet I find myself spending a great deal of time in my room because of university business. I like rock-climbing, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, downhill biking and I'd try every new sport that could bring me an adrenalin rush. I also like cooking even though I'm definitely not what you'd call a chef.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't read much; on the other side, I really watch plenty of movies, every genre, from drama Oscar winner to action or comedy, depending on the mood. I am a series addicted too. Speaking about music I am really open-mind; I like to discover new kind of music, at this time I'm more on the chill-out, acoustic side of music, likely those songs you'd listen to by a fire on the beach watching the sunset.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I parachuted once and bungee jumped twice, nothing too amazing, it was cool though. I once went all the way from Italy to Portugal with a vintage T3 van with friends, that was quite a journey.
