Overview
About Me
Just finished my masters and love to see some more places again!
I'd love to meet locals, explore authentic locations and enjoy to have a trip into the nature.
If you have an musical instrument laying around, I'd love to try it. Spontaneous jam sessions are the best!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to connect to local people - and this is possibly the best way to approach it!
So far I never traveled alone, so this is my first time I am actually trying couchsurfing (even though I apparently registered in 2013).
Interests
I like to try out some new sports, do some hiking around the nature and also see some life music pubs.
Beyond the technical topics I studied, I am also interested in topics like philosophy and psychology.
- traveling
- guitar
- violin
- computer science
- engineering
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm listening to most genres from classical music to elektro, or ambient, reggae...
I like books which teach me something for life. Last year read some book from Hermann Hesse. Also tried some self-improvement books.
I like to watch common as well as more explorative movies. I love the style of Tarantino's.
The maybe less known gems are Tree of Life, Babel, Amores Perros, Drive. And the movie 'Into the wild' inspired my first journey.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm proud to have been best man on 4 weddings, since I built long lasting friendships with my sister and friends from childhood.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn to cook a local dish of the place I am visiting. But bare with me, my limited cooking skills were formed in a minimalist student dorm.
I barely know any Spanish, but I am willing to change that!
If you want to learn violin, I happily teach you some basics.
I might also be able to fix your computer or smartphone, in case you did not drop it into the toilet.
