ABOUT ME

Hej,

I am Stefan or Zwiebel as most people call me. I like meeting people, see foreign countries and experience their way of living. If I'm not doing this weird science stuff , I use to hang out with my friends, play music, listen to some Heavy Metal, play pen and paper roleplay games, go diving or running, play Rugby , or just enjoy a drink and good company. So hopefully that shows that I'm open minded, friendly, and always ready for some fun and new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY
For me the highest things in live are freedom and mother nature. That means, I try to follow Kant categorical imperative and try to be as environmentally conscious as I can. Besides that, I think that the meaning of live is to enjoy it, but also leave a positive footprint. Which means, I work a lot and then enjoy my free time at the fullest.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm travelling, so I can't host. But I aim to surf a lot on this trip and once I'm settled again, I'll see to a couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Taiwan, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Cuba, Granada, and the Dom. Republic. It was generally good, beside this one weird guy that talked a bit to much about the past of my country (read: stupid alt-right idiot).

Hosted several people in Napoli and showed them around. Good time with all of them.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Since I'm a biologist, I'm always happy to tell some weird stories from my profession. I'm working in the ocean and I'm a diver, so I know a bit about the great blue out there. I love to talk about different countries and listen to stories other people have to tell about them. And well....I guess I have also one or the other story to tell. I'm intrigued by all sorts of stuff and I like good conversations.

In the recent years I more and more engaged into the battle of avoiding trash and lowering the plastic consumption. Also saving energy and living more sustainable. If you are interested, we can talk about that.
