CURRENT MISSION

I`m an Au Pair in the United states, Connecticut, and I really want to see as many places here as possible! Why I`m intrested in couchsurfing instead of Hostels?! Well, I really want to get to know the places and not just visit them!

ABOUT ME

Hmm...all about me. I came to this country to get more experiences for my job and I met amazing kids who I love! I try to get as much out of it as possible so I volunteer in the school and try to live a "normal american" life.
I was always a home person until I worked in a summer camp two years ago which was an important experience. 300 children and 100 helper in a town of tents...awsome!
My first trip was to the states to visit a friend, after that I made the decision to come here too. I have a lot of travel dreams and I hope to make as many of them as possible!
One day I want to live in Sweden, I don`t know why and I don`T know if that ever gonna happen but I really want to even if I have never been there...guess that shoulb be my first destination ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

I will start this all over again at the end of the year...a big part that won`t change is my lob, I might continue as a deacon, but those are future plans.
I want to see more from the world, I want to find a place to settle down and I have know idea where that would be...and that bothers me a bit...not that I don`t know where but that I don`t know how to figure that out.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to find some nice couches to discover the states and maybe later the world...solong I can give you hopefully good company.
When I`m back in Germany and when I have my own apartment I might offer my couch if it is possible, but until then I`m a guest in a house by myself wich is the reason why I cannot offer one.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I got my first couchsurfing experience at the easter weekend in Cambridge and it was great!
As soon as I have my next vacation I will try it again!

I try to be intrested in everything but of course some things don`t get my attention as much as others. I`m very intrested in every kind of education, for myself but also for the children, I like to see new placec and meet new people, I go to lutheran/protestant church and sing in the choir, my job is my biggest intrest and hobby, I love to teach!

I`m really bad with titles of anything, a really good book I just read is "five people you meet in heaven" by Mith Albom, out of that I thing that Astrid Lindgren was one of the wisest people on the world!

Movies...well, one I really liked (and I cried...) was "the pursuit of happieness", unberlieveble story!

Music...I listen to almost everything that catches my ears, I really like Xavior Naidoo and "Die Soehne Mannheims" and, of course, to sing by myself, but only for me though :-)

I see the deep love from a mother to her twins with special needs and her power and brave to give them this love every day!

hmm...lets see. I get a lot of experiences here with my kids wich I love to share!
Out of that it would be a pleasure for me if I can help you learning german!
I want to learn more about the people in this or other countries, about their social lifes, their culture, their places, about everything!
