Hello!

I am an Arts professional heading over to London on a career development scholarship! I'm from a Creative Arts background, grew up in regional Australia and now living in Sydney. I'm going to be in the UK for 3 months and would love to do a mix of house sitting and couch surfing.

I love going to the theatre, exploring and I'm obsessed with Rupaul's Drag Race (and Drag Culture, in general!) I am an advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights in Australia and it's essential that you are an ally or willing to learn :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Lucky enough to receive a career development scholarship in the Arts so I'm travelling over to do a bunch of workshops, seminars and, of course, some sight seeing! The scholarship is only for a small amount, I am blessed to get it, but need to cut down as much cost as possible. Plus, I really want to make some real, genuine connections and live like a local.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite band ever is the Red Hot Chili Peppers! But Tame Impala is close behind. Kanye West is my God. I love experimental rock and alternative bands as well as hip-hop, especially queer RnB.

I love the Harry Potter series (books and movies) and one of my favourite films ever is American Beauty. I also love Lars Von Trier films, movies that make you think and real good comedies!

I love good literature. I like reading for leisure and academia. Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger and East of Eden by Steinbeck are my favourite novels. I also like Lolita and like discussing it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Eaten a whole chilli in 3 minutes (without milk!)

Been in a dance marathon - 6 hours!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love meeting new people and sharing stories. I'm from Australia and have lived in the city and rurally so I can gel with pretty much anyone. I also am travelling solo, so anyone is welcome to come and do some fun things with me!
