ABOUT ME
Since I can't travel myself at the moment my couch is up for grabs. Or the spare bed. Or the other spare bed. Or one of the inflatable mattresses. =)
I'd like to travel more but it's hard to find the time and money at the moment. And that sucks, but sooner or later I'll start couchsurfing all over.. just six months left, then I'm good to go! :P
PHILOSOPHY
Do what ever floats your boat, just as long as no-one gets hurt.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, as I can't travel myself at the moment, my sofa is up for grabs.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Two days in Hamburg, first night I met a fellow surfer and we went out for drinks and the day after that I meet two locals and we had breakfast. Surfed around in Paris for about a week, spent 13 nights surfing in Linköping and so on.
I've hosted a couple of times and gone out for drinks and/or a coffee a bunch of times.
Interests
I love music in general. It's a constant inspiration in my everyday life. Be it singer/songwriters from early sixties to 30s Parisian gypsy/hot jazz to Norwegian black metal to Icelandic experimental. And to experience music live is probably my biggest monthly expense.
Other than that, I love to read and watch movies although the reading these days is mostly comprised of course literature.

Music, Movies, and Books
Wow, this part always tends to get a bit pretentious but here goes nothing:
Music: Always Metallica (grew up on it, it's like my Beatles), Frank Zappa, Tom Waits, Django Reinhardt, CSN&Y, Gentle Giant, Ane Brun, Anthony & the Johnsons, Testament, Dick Gaughan, Woven Hand, Marvin Gay, Aretha Franklin, Kermit Ruffins, Dillinger Escape Plan, and like a billion others.
Movies: Interstate 60, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Big Fish. It'd be ridiculous to try and name all the movies I like so let's just say I like movies with fast paced dialog and some sort of semi-pretentiously hidden/insiuated meaning.
Books: At the moment, school books. Whenever I find the time to read it will likely be some kind of social realism (like Tjechov, Martinsson, Wägner etc.)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think one of my greatest experiences would be the Roskilde festival in Denmark in 2003. Just awesome!
Teach, Learn, Share
I will gladly share my vast knowledge in shitology. You know, the immensely interesting science of completely useless facts? I've got a PhD in it.. =) (No, not really, but wouldn't it be awesome?)
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain
Countries I’ve Lived In
Sweden
